A private lifestyle companion in Epsom
This is where I live, so it's the place I know best — the walk up to the Downs, the Ashley Centre, and which cafés are quiet on a weekday morning.
Sometimes independence is simply being able to keep going to the places that already feel like home.
What a week in Epsom can look like
Because I am based in Epsom, I can be flexible here in a way that is harder further afield. A short visit on a difficult morning is no trouble; so is a long afternoon.
A week might begin with the post and a couple of calls sorted out at the kitchen table, then a slow walk through Rosebery Park and coffee somewhere warm. Later on it might be a GP or hospital appointment, followed by a quiet coffee and time to make sense of what was actually said.
None of that is fixed. We agree it between us as we go, and it changes when it needs to.
Questions about Epsom
Do you live in Epsom?
Yes — I live here, which is why I can be more flexible in Epsom than further out. I know the surgeries, the parks, the parking and the quiet cafés without having to work them out first.
Will you come to appointments with me?
Yes — GP surgeries, Epsom Hospital and private appointments. Often the appointment isn't the difficult part. It's making sense of what was said afterwards. That's something we can do together on the journey home or over a coffee.
