Who is responsible for your information

What I collect

• If you use the enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number if you choose to give it, and whatever you write in your message.
• If you telephone, email or message me: the contact details you use and what we discuss.

Why I use it

To reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to arrange and provide support.

The legal basis

For replying to an enquiry and arranging support: legitimate interests and, where we work together, the performance of a contract.

Who else sees it

Nobody, other than the services that make this website work: Vercel, which hosts the site; FormSubmit, which delivers enquiry form messages to my inbox; and Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces this site uses and therefore receives your IP address when a page loads. Your details are never sold, never shared for marketing and never added to a mailing list.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to us working together are deleted within twelve months. Where we do work together, records are kept for as long as the arrangement continues and for six years afterwards, which is the period tax and insurance requirements expect.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party marketing scripts, which is why you are not asked to accept anything. If analytics is added later you will be asked first, and my Cookie Policy explains this in full.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@charlie-sinclair.co.uk and I will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
